The Vision

Scenes from the Summer 2007 free youth clinic.
Youth Lacrosse: The youth league for boys and girls in grades 3rd - 8th grade just completed its first spring season through Parks and Rec. We also host periodic youth lacrosse clinics for local youth to learn the game and basic skills such as catching, throwing, cradling, dodging, etc. If you have a child that is interested in playing, please respond in the "I Want to Play" section below to register.
High School Lacrosse: A girls lacrosse club team is being planned at Fluvanna County High School for spring 2008. The boys lacrosse team just completed its first season through Parks and Rec. Male and female student athletes are needed for both club teams. If you are a high school student and would like to play, please respond in the "I Want to Play" section below.
Coed "Soft" Lacrosse: We now offer pick up games on Sunday afternoons for men and women (ages 14 & over) who want to get good exercise, make friends and sharpen their skills. This is a non-contact version is ideal for beginners because it emphasizes the basics of the sport such as throwing, catching, cradling and scooping in a fun and safe environment. It is also far less expensive because it doesn't require pads.
Women's Lacrosse: We would like to add a women's pick up game to the schedule. We are seeking adult players of all ages over 14 and skill levels. Pickup games will be low key and fun. Experienced players are encouraged to help teach the less experienced and beginners. If you would like to play, please respond in the "I Want to Play" section below.
Men's Lacrosse: Sunday afternoon pickup games are held here in Fluvanna County for adult players of all ages and skill levels (ages 14 & over). These games provide an outlet for those who love the sport as well as those who would like to learn the game. Pickup games are low key and fun; good sportsmanship and a positive attitude is displayed by all. Experienced players are helping teach the less experienced and beginners.
What's needed?
